FOR EXAMPLE
50 question elements + 22 logic elements: Essential.
50 question elements + 30 logic elements: Standard.
A short survey with conjoint: Advanced.
The first two examples have no loops, advanced methods, or custom functions. Each respondent input counts once. For selection grids, each row counts once; for rating or allocation grids, each input cell counts once. Repeating inputs count at their maximum specified repetitions. We count questions across all branches.
Headings, instructions, media, answer-list definitions, and hidden calculations are not question elements.
Each survey element counts once if it uses conditional display, automatic answers, custom validation, dynamic answer lists or piping, randomization, skip/goto routing, screener qualification or termination, calculations, or quotas. Multiple rules on the same element still count once.
A screener question counts as a question element; its qualification or termination rule counts toward logic. An element with both an input and logic counts in both categories.
Logic inside a loop is counted once; its repeated questions contribute to the question element count.
If a tier limit is unclear, we’ll review the scope with you before you pay. Advanced has no question, logic, or loop caps. Platform compatibility is confirmed with your quote.
No. We review your questionnaire, show you the question and logic counts, and assign the lowest tier that fits. You can review the scope and correct anything we’ve misread before accepting the price.
Testing is included with all survey programming. Each tier covers AI programming, editing, an initial testing cycle, a findings report, and two retests of the same study within 30 days. Verification of corrections to Questra’s implementation is included too.
Yes. Within the same 30-day study window, your testing purchase counts toward Program + Test for the same questionnaire and tier. Pay the difference: $50 for Essential, $100 for Standard, or $200 for Advanced. Contracted prices follow your agreement.
Bring your survey test link and questionnaire, or a supported complete survey export. We need the full scope to confirm your tier. With only a URL, you can start with an exploratory test; it does not establish the full scope of hidden branches and logic.
Your accepted price stays fixed for the agreed scope. Corrections to Questra’s work do not increase it. If you add questions or change the study substantially, we show you any scope and price changes for approval before continuing.
